NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, the 2nd day of November, 2010, at the designated polling places in Holt County, a General Election will be held. The polls will open at 8:00 A.M. and close at 8:00 P.M. Madsen Larry Butler Proposed Constitutional Amendments Proposed Amendment No. 1 Proposed Constitutional Amendments Proposed Amendment No. 2 Special Issue –Chambers Rural Fire District #6 Levy Shall the Chambers Rural Fire District #6 of Holt County Nebraska, be allowed to levy a property tax not to exceed five cents per on hundred dollars of taxable valuation in excess of the limits prescribed by law from fiscal year starting July 1, 2011, and ending June 30, 2016 for purposes of general operations, and equipment replacement. Without voter approval, the District is subject to the levy allocation as determined by the Holt County Board on an annual basis. Such approval will allow the District to plan for a stable level of property tax support. Yes No
